Rajasthan Royals (RR) are unsure whether they will be utilizing the services of Ben Stokes for the thirteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) or not.
It was earlier speculated that Stokes might miss on a few matches of IPL 2020 for RR. The management has been cooperative as Andrew McDonalds, the head coach of the franchise believes that he shall have the required time with his family.
Stokes left in the midst of the Pakistan and England test series as his father was diagnosed with brain cancer in New Zealand. It can be a hit for the franchise and they can utilize Tom Curran or David Miller as his alternate.

“First and foremost, thoughts with the Stokes family. It’s a difficult scenario, so we are giving him as much time as he needs, and connecting with him as best as we can. So yeah, we are not sure where Stokesy’s right now, but once it has played out, then we can make our decisions from there,” McDonald told ESPNCricinfo.
