The sixth game of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) that happened between the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), was thrilling to watch. The two franchises stepped in the ground with full confidence with an object of winning but KXIP were worth it.
RCB, who won their inaugural match of the 2020 season, were overwhelmed by their victory which led to overconfidence. Under Virat Kohli, they failed miserably and the skipper himself has been unable to score consecutively from the last two games. The side fell short of wickets in 17 overs and they were all out on 109 runs.
After RCB won the toss and decided to bowl first, KL Rahul’s side utilized the bat-supportive pitch and smashed a massive score of 206 runs losing only three wickets.
Mayank Agarwal, Nicholas Pooran, and Karun Nair added 26 (20), 17 (18), and 15 (8) respectively to give a might chase to Virat Kohli’s side. (TheSportsMag)

RCB failed in all three departments as they could not grab more than three wickets, and none of their batsmen scored more than 30 runs (Washington Sundar).
However, KXIP are to play their next game on 27th September against Rajasthan Royals (RR) and RCB will be playing against Mumbai Indians (MI) on 28th September.
