Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) are yet to win their maiden title for the Indian Premier League (IPL). The extravaganza is to be started by 19th September and KL Rahul’s leading side are looking forward to hunting for the trophy.
The CEO of the side also seems concerned about the win as he had made several statements. However, the availability of foreign players is still confusing. They have Chris Jordan and Glenn Maxwell from England and Australia and according to the CEO, KXIP are unsure of their availabilities.
The sides are going busy in their bilateral series and will be shifting from one bio-secure bubble to another (IPL 2020).
Kings XI Punjab opens up for availability of the foreign players
“Nobody has any clarity on that yet. The BCCI is supposed to come back on whether the quarantine can be reduced as they are coming from a bubble to [another] bubble. We don’t have any clarity as yet,” Menon said as quoted by InsideSport.
“From what I hear from the bubble, things are exactly as it was planned. We have been following the SoP that has been laid out by the BCCI and authorities,” he added.
“We are hopeful of winning the title this year. The format is one where anything can happen on a given day, so we will have to see how it goes,” the CEO stated.
