England and Australia’s players to undergo 6-day quarantine: IPL 2020

After Australia vs England cricket matches have ended, the players from both the countries have left the UAE, and a few of them have reached the destined venue for the Indian Premier Leagues (IPL). With a few who are to reach on Thursday night, the protocols and quarantine rules say that the Australian and England’s players will be in the six-day quarantine before featuring in any of the league’s matches.

However, the scenario that is highly dependable on the player’s home base, will be deciding whether the teams will suffer six-days quarantine. The players that will have to head at Abu Dhabi after landing at Dubai, will probably have to go under isolation. The two teams, Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians have Abu Dhabi as their home base.

Mumbai Indians are fortunate to get no England/Australia player whereas Gautam’s side, that own Eoin Morgan, Tom Banton, and Pat Cummins, will be sending the trio under isolation as according to the rules and requirements. All three players will not be in the KKR’s opening match that is to be played on 23rd September.
