In the inaugural match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) played between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the masses were astonished to witness the entirely unexpected playing XI from both sides.
On one hand, MI was more dominant by international stars and on the other hand, CSK dropped Dwayne Bravo and Imran Tahir. Luckily, despite missing their many major assets, CSK managed to win the game by five-wickets showing that really are Dad’s army full of experience.
Dwayne Bravo, who was lastly spotted playing for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), was not allowed to bowl following his injury and for the reason, CSK have not picked him in the first match. According to the head coach of the franchise, he might be unavailable for a few matches until completely fit.
Dwayne Bravo to miss a few matches for CSK
“Dwayne Bravo is out for a couple of games,” Fleming was quoted as saying in the post-match press conference.
The side will play their second game of the cash-rich league’s 2020 season on 22nd September. They are scheduled to play the game against Rajasthan Royals at Sharjah Stadium. You can check the rest of the schedule for the Dad’s army on TheSportsMag.
