The staff, players, management, and in short everyone from the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have been tested COVID-19 negative for the Indian Premier League (IPL). Earlier, as many as thirteen contestants of the Yellow Army were tested positive which was shocking enough to hear.

As there are no negative symptoms, MS Dhoni’s leading side is yet to be tested negative once again before featuring in the practice matches.

This must-have been an alarming sign for Dhoni’s leading franchise as they are falling short of players.

The BCCI was to reveal the complete schedule on 29th August that has been now delayed after the virus strike CSK.

The schedule has still been pending amidst the COVID-19 strike at UAE. If the cases continue to rise, it might be a threat for the board to organize the league.

The league will commence on 19th September in full swing but with all the matches behind closed doors. UAE is still not free of COVID-19 and the more cases being reported to have interrupted deciding the schedule.

Also, the cricketer Suresh Raina has been pulled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL). A few believe he has departed himself due to personal reasons.

One of the officials of the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) announced giving some more time to CSK to get well-settled and to avoid spreading of the deadly Chinesevirus.

“They will now not be in a position to contest the opening game of the IPL 2020. We will give CSK a few more days to come out of this setback,” said one of the BCCI officials to InsideSport.
