Chris Lynn is least likely to have any match with Mumbai Indians (MI) after his unimpressive Caribbean Premier League (CPL) played recently.
For the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020), the management might not prefer him as so far, they are not truly impressed by Lynn’s performance. The player, however, went really good in the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Indian management seems to be considering the recent performance.
Ashish Nehra and Sanjay Manjekar presented their opinions and said that he did not play well on the spin. Also, MI also have Ishan Kishan and Quinton De Kock in their squad which might make Lynn unnecessarily for the usage.
Chris Lynn might not get a game with Mumbai Indians: IPL 2020
“First thing is that just because his CPL has not gone well, it is not necessary that his IPL will also not be good. But had the CPL been good, his confidence would have been high, and he would have got more opportunities,” Nehra told Star Sports.
“We have seen in the IPL as well that when it comes to spin bowling, he has difficulties. Although he tried in the match against TKR by playing a lot of deliveries, still could not score a lot of runs.”
“I feel Chris Lynn may not get a game for the Mumbai Indians because they have Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan in the team.”
