The Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of one of the franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), believes that MS Dhoni will not make a step ahead like he has done for international cricket.
The CEO wants him to play for IPL on a long-term contract and does not want him to quit as he has recently bid a farewell to international cricket.

“He has quit international cricket only. He is going to play for CSK. We want him to play for us as long as he wants. In fact, we plan to retain him as a player after the 2021 IPL too,” he said.
“The decision to retire from international cricket was typical of Dhoni. But we don’t interfere with him when it comes to cricketing decisions. However, we certainly hope that he doesn’t make a decision like that and quit CSK,” he was quoted saying.
Dhoni was known for his calmest captaincy tricks and knew how to dig most out of his players. The world will never witness a captain like him who took his team to the designation of winning all three ICC trophies; Champions Trophy, T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup, and two Asia Cups
He signed off by saying– “His decision completely took us by surprise but he showed no emotions. He was as cool and calm as ever. The Indian team and CSK have achieved success over the years under Dhoni’s captaincy because there was clarity in his thoughts. On Saturday, too, I could see the same clarity in his decision.”
