The Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) must be suffering a big blow as Bhuvneshwar Kumar, one of the finest pacers has been ruled out for the entire remaining edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020).
Bhuvneshwar was injured during SRH’s last encounter against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He did retry but was limp off the field. As of now, his hip injury has made him unable to get featured in the next matches for the Orange Army.
Although the side has many options such as T Natarajan, Khaleel Ahmed, Basil Thampi, and Siddarth Kaul none of them match the versatility and will not give an equal experience as Bhuvneshwar produces.
It is a burden on David Warner’s shoulder to ease as he has to pick up the best possible choice. Notably, the side already lost three out of five matches and are resting in the fifth spot. Bhuvneshwars’ absence can make a huge adverse impact on their pace as he was the commander on-field of SRH’s pace.
A big blow for the DC as Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been ruled out from IPL 2020
A representative of the health care department of SRH said:
“Bhuvi will not be able to take further part in this year’s tournament as he has been ruled out with a hip injury. A big blow for sure as he is someone who leads the bowling unit and is also an integral part of the leadership group on the ground.”
