Ben Stokes, England’s professional all-rounder will be joining his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the first week of October. The news has not been officially revealed but according to some reliable sources, the speculations say that he will be part of the Royals family soon.
Stokes had left Pakistan vs England test series in midway to join his father at New Zealand, Christchurch who has been diagnosed with brain cancer.
The head coach of the franchise, Andrew Mcdonald gave him as much time as he needed to spend quality time with his family. The leniency was a sign of cooperation and as Ben feels like returning, he will be their part soon. However, he is likely to miss the first half-season as he has already missed one of the matches, he will spend fourteen days of quarantine as well.

The player also has started training at Christchurch and his availability will be worthy to Royals. With incredible all-rounding techniques, he can be a useful asset in middle-overs and can grab some wickets too.
His franchise is all set to face the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on 27th September and his travel preparations are underway.
