
As amidst the Coronavirus outbreak, the boards are suffering from tours, leagues, series, and tournaments cancellation, Sri Lanka vs India also seems to be tough to be organized in summers as the global health crisis, instead of getting better is worsening day by day and with the rising sun, more cases get reported.
Recently, SLC proposed BCCI to resume the series in summers that priorly got canceled amid the Coronavirus outbreak. In response, the Indian board has hinted that resuming cricket might be an option. However, they still do concern the health of their players at first rather than organizing the league.
Recently, the reliable reports have revealed that India will be playing the six-match bilateral series with Sri Lanka as earlier, the decision was deferred.
If commenced ahead, the two nations will be indulged in three ODI matches and three T20I matches. A six-match series till now is expected between India and Sri Lanka from July-August.

An official of SLC disclosed that they would like to fill at least 30-40% of the stadium meanwhile the spectators maintaining one-meter distance to avoid spreading of the disease. Still, the final decision is to be made by the health and medical officials and the boards will be following the descriptions.
“Ideally, we would want to fill up 30 to 40 percent of the venues. Spectators can maintain one-meter distance and watch games. However, the final call will be made by health officials. We will follow all their instructions,” he said as quoted by The Island.
It is to be noted that Sri Lanka is also to host Asia Cup 2020 as ACC and PCB are in contact to give either UAE or Sri Lanka the hosting rights.
